These E36 door panels incorporate an angled bend to cover the top edge of the door as well as a second bend to latch into the window slot. The panels are designed to allow customers to retain fully functioning windows without any modification to the window mechanisms. The panels are powder coated aluminum, have door pull slots designed into them, and weigh only 2 lbs a piece - providing 16 lbs of weight savings over factory door panels. All mounting holes are pre-drilled, making installation extremely simple, and all required hardware is included.

The two speaker cutout dimensions are as followed:
- Large Hole - 2.9000 inches
- Small Hole - 2.000 inches
Not compatible with the following without modification:
- 1992 E36's, due to the large window motor.
- Nokia speakers that were optioned on some 1992-1994 E36s. You can identify them by part #65138361382
- Harmon Kardon Speakers.

Fairly easy install, I would recommend getting as much of the glue for the sound insulation off as possible but once you get the first done, the second is a piece of cake

Best thing I bought for my e36 M3
So for the longest time my door card on my e36 had been falling apart in every way you could possibly image. From the leather falling off around the edges to the plastic braces ripping off because of the glue or just me ripping off the handle one morning as I close the door for no apparent reason what so ever. Long story short, my door panel was garbage. Then I came across this literal gift form god (no sarcasm) aluminum door panel. It as easy to install, looked very nice and well design and made not hating my everyday commutes to work. Also I am proudly representing that MKAH sticker on the back of my windshield.
TDRL: Best door panel ever, no regrets at all! Really good for track cars or if you just want to replace the OEM door panel.
P.S. I plan to buy the back seat delete too. No doubt in my mined! -
Ornate
great finish on the panels. Once installed they look great. However they come with holes predrilled for mounting, wish there wernt so many. I did not use all of them had to make some of my own to fasten the panel flush to my liking. Was trying to avoid that warp indentation/pitting when you Drive in the screw onthin gague mqterial for a cleaner look so i made spacers of my own to avoid that. if more door handle spacer were included that would have helped. The little details on bends/cuts is imaculate. all in all a great product. Highly recommended. Also keep in mind the cab will be significantly warmer in summer track days.
